SPACE INVADERS
Pew! Pew! Pew! Congratulations! Space Invaders is turning 44 years old this year. In 1978 the game was immensely popular. So popular even, that people speculate the arcade game led to a shortage of 100-yen coins in Japan. Space invaders are still super trendy though. Aliens are a favourite subject in many of our media after all. From Star Trek to the Avengers, aliens are everywhere. But whether we’ll ever see them in real life is still a mystery.
